Graham was born during the Blitz and came to the Prep School in 1948. He was at the School in 1957 when the Queen visited to celebrate the School’s 400th anniversary, but left that year, aged 16 with two ‘A’ levels. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant. Graham was a great supporter of the OB Society, joining the Committee in 1969. He soon became editor of the Chronicle, followed by Hon. Registrar. He was President in 2001. He was a stalwart of the OB Lodge, being its Master in 1977 and serving as its Secretary for sixteen years. He was honoured by the United Grand Lodge with Grand Rank in 2007. He was also a member of the OB Chapter.

Graham leaves a devoted wife of 54 years, Shirley, two sons, Andrew and Simon, who both attended the school. His granddaughter, Isabella, is also an Old Brentwood, having left the school last year.

He lived respected and died regretted.

The Funeral will take place at 1pm on Monday 3rd February at St. Mary the Virgin, Hall Lane, Shenfield, Brentwood, CM15 9AL. Please contact Andy (andyborn123@aol.com) so that the family have an idea of numbers.
