OBs gather for the welcome return of summer City drinks

Last week saw the welcome return of our summer drinks in the City following a 5-year covid induced hiatus. Despite the fact that this coincided with the temporary departure of the actual summer the return was nevertheless enthusiastically celebrated by an impressive turn out of Brentwoods Old and New who filled the terrace at the picturesque Happenstance bar in St Paul’s.

As OBs, spanning from classes of 1953 to 2023, shared warm reunions and traded colourful stories, it became apparent that their shared connection to Brentwood School is both powerful and enduring. 

As one guest remarked “I could waffle all day about the joy from last night. Reliving my childhood always reminds me that my school days were such fun. The most interesting thing I learned speaking to the younger people last night was that they share that joy. Brentwood School still has the magic!”
