It was a school battle at The Den on Saturday 7th December between Millwall and Coventry - with both managers playing on the same football team when they attended Brentwood School together.
Millwall, coached by Neil Harris (OB 1988-1992), went up against Coventry City, coached by Frank Lampard (OB 1989-1994).
When manager of Derby County, Lampard referenced the connection between the two, saying "He (Harris) was in the year above, but we played in the same football teams a lot because I managed to play above my year by a couple and so did he, so we managed to play in the Upper Sixth games." He went on to add, "He stood out as a player and personality that would go on and do something".
After a 63rd minute goal by Ephron Mason-Clark, Frank Lampard collected his first win as Coventry City manager as his side won 1-0. The win lifts them up to 14th place in the Championship, whilst Millwall remain in 11th place after their first loss in 10 games.
