Andrew loves The Ritz!

Andrew Love (OB 1952-59) popped up on our TV screens last month during ITV's four part documentary "Inside the Ritz". Andrew, who is Deputy Chairman of the Hotel and Chairman of The Ritz Club was featured in a couple of brief 'interview slots', as well as spotted sampling a couple of cocktails at the bar! However, as Andrew himself admits, the real stars of the show were John Williams MBE, Executive Chef; Ian Gomes, Resident Pianist and Head Concierge, Michael de Cozar (who has notched up an impressive 46 years service at The Ritz).

Andrew, a former Newnum House boarder, and tough tackling left back in his younger, footballing, days really is a 'people person' and clearly popular with both his staff and guests alike. He is always happy to meet and welcome OBs to The Ritz, so if you are ever in London's Piccadilly do pop in to say hello to him.
