Mill Hill Housemaster, Tim Cope, has recently taken over as the School's Duke of Edinburgh Centre Manager and would like to offer those OBs who are still yet to complete their DofE Award the opportunity to do so. You are probably aware that there are four elements to the Bronze and Silver DofE and five to the Gold as outlined below.

  1. Volunteering
  2. Physical
  3. Skills
  4. Expedition
  5. Residential (GOLD only)

Tim is initially seeking expressions of interest for those of you who would wish to complete the expedition section of your award. The intention is for this to take place over the Easter break on Dartmoor between the 11th and 17th of April 2022.

If you are interested in taking part, please complete this google form no later than 15th November 2021.

The intention is to run this on a regular basis, so please do not worry if you are unable to make this one.

While this is initailly aimed at younger OBs (the scheme is open to under 25s), Tim is open to running a bespoke 'OB DofE' for our older alumni, so do express your interest if you fall into the latter category. Events will only take place if there is sufficient interest to justify Tim's time and effort.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Tim directly - copet@brentwood.essex.sch.uk
