Seeing [bursary students]  flourish and thrive at Brentwood, I can assure you, your money is well spent

Why have you decided to take part in the challenge?

My childhood in the beautiful area of Bieszczady Mountains (part of the Outer Eastern Carpathians) in the south-east of Poland fostered a deep love of hill walking and hiking. In my humble opinion, a summer holiday without climbing a mountain doesn't count! I am greatly looking forward to returning to the majestic and awe-inspiring scenery of Snowdonia, which I was fortunate to visit in 2019 with the Brentwood School CCF. I am delighted to support our fantastic bursary programme by completing this challenge alongside some wonderful colleagues.

Can you give us some insight into your training regime?

I live an active lifestyle but but don't follow a rigorous training regime. I walk everywehere, including power walking (up the hill) every day to school, and rambling with my beloved rescue dog. I spoil him rotten and walk him every morning and evening for hours. Sometimes I torture myself by using the stair climber in the school gym for a good cardio because who doesn't like to climb excess stairs to nowhere? I love being outdoors and use every opportunity to embrace the stunning Essex countryside; I firmly believe that nature is a wonderful balm for the soul.

Any message for potential supporters?

The Brentwood School bursary programme is an inspiring initiative; it speaks to minds and touches hearts with its immediate and tangible impact. Having worked with some of the most talented IB students from the UK and all over the world and seeing them flourish and thrive at Brentwood, I can assure you, your money is well spent. Giving truly is receiving, so please donate! Anything you can give will make a difference. Thank you very much, indeed, for your kindness and generosity!
