The gift of education is one of the most powerful anyone can offer

Why have you decided to take part in the challenge?

One of the biggest - and many - things I love about Brentwood is our Bursary programme, which helps match outstanding young people with an outstanding (and in many cases life-changing) education. I also enjoy keeping fit - especially in the Great Outdoors - and love a challenge, so being able to combine all three in one go is an opportunity I wasn't going to miss, with the added bonus of being alongside a group of fantastic colleagues at the same time.

Can you give us some insight into your training regime

I'll be doing a mix of running, cycling and cross-fit over the summer to make sure I'm ready for the challenge in Snowdonia

Any message for potential supporters?

The gift of education is one of the most powerful anyone can offer - our bursaries make an immediate and a life-long difference to children. Seeing this impact every day as I do, I'd like to encourage any support - however big or small - to contribute to this worthy cause. Thank you very much!
