We believe this film, entitled 'A Day in the life of a Brentwood Boy', was made in the late 1950s and hope it will be of interest to, and spark some happy memories for, OBs who were at the School during that time - particularly those who were boarders!

'Trivial Round' is a phrase from a hymn by John Keble, and according the Headmaster at the time, Ralph Allison, "his description corresponds very closely to the composition of the ordinary school day" [source: Memoranda: Brentwood School 1945 to 1965, p. 32].
If any OB can provide more information about the film, when and why it was made, or recognises any of the boys featured, we would be delighted to hear from you, as would our Archivist, Stacey Harmer.
