Join us for a wonderful evening of music in the Wessex Auditorium on Wednesday 12th February, in which we will be showcasing the incredible pianists of Brentwood School in our Steinway Concert.
In 2019, Brentwood School became one of 14 All-Steinway schools, allowing the students to practice, rehearse and perform on some of the finest instruments available. Brentwood is now in its sixth year of partnership with Steinway & Sons, going from strength to strength. The pianists benefit from masterclasses with Steinway artists and performance opportunities at Steinway Hall. With many of our talented musicians seriously considering a career in the field, this is the perfect opportunity for you to get a ticket and hear them play before the concerts may be too exclusive to attend!
We are thrilled to welcome Martin Bartlett (OB 2007-2010) back to Brentwood for a special performance. Martin is an exclusive recording artist with Warner Classics, having released his latest album, "La Danse" in January 2024. His early public success was when he won BBC Young Musician of the Year in 2014, leading to engagements with the BBC Symphony Orchestra and Royal Philharmonic. In 2022, Martin's talent was further recognised when he received the inaugural Prix Serdang, recognising the achievements and career of a young pianist. We are delighted to have him return to Brentwood.
Some of the students you will hear are bursary recipients, who would not be able to take advantage of all the opportunities provided by Brentwood School without your generous support.
