In the district of Limburg-Weilburg, province of Villmar, there is a small village called Langhecke. It is on the western edge of the Taunus hills, and looks out across a valley where the small Leistenbach river finds its way down to the river Lahn nearby in Aumenau. The area is great for hikers, bikers (pedal or motorised), joggers, equestrians (ask us about stables nearby) and canoeists.
Our holiday flat ('Ferienwohnung' for those who studied German) is on the edge of Langhecke right next to the forest and offers many opportunities for a relaxing and healthy self-catering break. The location is also ideal if you're making a long road trip, for example between Italy and the UK, and need an overnight halt. There are two bedrooms, each with a double bed and, at a stretch, we can make another room available upstairs for a further two people although this is not part of the usual accomodation.
You can find a more detailed description of the apartment on AirBNB under 'FeWo Schulberg in der ruhigen Taunuslandschaft'.
Even though the official rate is already low, we'll do a little discount for OBs great and small, depending on how long you want to stay with us. Bis dann also!
